Rohnert Park, CA - On the morning of July 1st 2026, the Rohnert Park DPS Communications center received a call about a subject trying to sell a 12 year old a marijuana vape pen. The suspect communicated with the juvenile on Snapchat to setup the deal. The suspect then came to the juvenile’s residence in Rohnert Park where the juvenile’s mother interrupted the sale, capturing a photograph of the suspect’s face and vehicle as he fled.
A Rohnert Park DPS Patrol Officer began investigating the incident. Using law enforcement databases and the Flock ALPR system, our Patrol Officer identified the suspect as Orlando Robledo (21, Sonoma) and determined that he went to the City of Sonoma after the incident. Robledo’s information was shared with our allied agencies and later that evening, he was located by a Deputy with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office in the 200 block of Petaluma Avenue in Sonoma.
A Rohnert Park DPS Patrol Officer took custody of Robledo. Robledo was arrested and booked at the Sonoma County Jail for the following charge(s):
11361(a) HS – Felony: Sale of Marijuana to a minor under 14
