***UPDATE***
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the homicide investigation of 61-year-old George Eggleston, who was found deceased on May 11, 2026, at the Fifth Season Inn, located at 6801 W. Interstate 40. During the investigation, detectives determined Eggleston had died as the result of a gunshot wound.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been taken into custody:
• Tabitha Thrasher, 49, was arrested in Amarillo and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
• Christian Eaglin, 30, was apprehended by the United States Marshals Service in Dallas, Texas.
• Clyde Casey, 41, was apprehended by the United States Marshals Service in Houston, Texas.
The Amarillo Police Department would like to thank the community for providing information during this investigation, as well as the United States Marshals Service and our law enforcement partners for their assistance in locating and apprehending these individuals.

On Monday, May 11, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Fifth Season Inn, located at 6801 W. I-40 on a report of a deceased male found inside a room.
The male was identified as 61-year-old George Glen Eggleston, who was living at the hotel. During the investigation, officers determined Eggleston had been shot.
Next of kin has been notified. The investigation is ongoing.
The Amarillo Police Homicide is investigating this as a homicide and is asking the community for help for any information regarding Mr. Eggleston’s death.
