INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 14000 block of Brucite Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Willie McGuire, 36-year-old, Transient of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, July 6, 2026, at approximately 12:34 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to a reported stabbing in the 14000 block of Brucite Road.
For unknown reasons, Willie McGuire broke a window at the residence. When the homeowner opened the front door, McGuire entered the residence without permission and assaulted the adult victims. During the altercation, McGuire armed himself with a box cutter and stabbed two adult victims. The victims and homeowner did not know McGurie prior to the incident.
When deputies arrived, McGuire attempted to flee. Deputies pursued McGuire and took him into custody without further incident. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Willie McGuire was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for PC 245(A)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
