On July 7, 2026, at 10:32 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a disturbance that had recently occurred in a residence in the 1300 block of North State Road 65 near Princeton. Deputy Wyatt Lashbrook arrived and spoke with the reporting party and found evidence that active threats had been made against them. At that point Deputy Lashbrook and other officers went to the other party’s residence to speak with them. After collecting statements from all involved Deputy Wyatt Lashbrook placed 56-year-old Clarence Doyle of Princeton into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Detention Center where he was charged with Intimidation.
Deputies Shawn Holmes, Wyatt Hunt, Aubrey McNeely, and Sgt. Loren Barchett assisted in this case. Also assisting were Princeton Officers David Jones and Logan Lashbrook.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
