* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following area, New Castle and southern New Jersey, including the following areas, Camden, Gloucester, Northwestern Burlington and Salem.

* WHEN...From noon EDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening, capable of producing heavy downpours. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are likely and short term training could result in flooding over southeast Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and portions of southern New Jersey. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
