Water system repair- Lancaster
The DPW will be making a repair to the system around the 19900 block of Lancaster (at Balfour)
Repairs will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m., Thursday 7/9/2026
Water service may be interrupted for approximately 6 hours in a multi-block area near the repair- shut down will occur at 10:00 a.m.
Please do not wash clothes, shower/bathe, drink or use the water until repairs are complete.
Once water has been restored you will need to flush the pipes until the water runs clear. Please run the water for a few minutes in the laundry tub to do so.
Please stay clear of the work area if possible - if travel is unavoidable take caution when driving in the area-there will be barricades, crew members, support vehicles and water over the roadways.
Please store water for bathroom use
