Activity for July 8, 2026:
- Officer Morse met with officers from the Romulus Police Department for a warrant pick-up. A 39-year-old female was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant and multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Jones was dispatched to the 1400 block of Pringle for an assault report.
- Officer Jones conducted follow-up on an assault that occurred near West Michigan Avenue and North Jackson Street. The suspect has been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
- JPD members attended the 2nd Summer Safety Series for the year at the Martin Luther King Center.
- Officer Panther and Officer Tripp located a wanted subject in the 200 block of East Wilkins Street. A 20-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
- Officer Goble responded to the 100 block of North Elm Avenue for an audible alarm. A 39-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the hospital for a subject who arrived with a gunshot wound. It was determined the incident occurred outside of the City limits. The correct agency responded to take over the investigation.
- Officer Richardson conducted a traffic stop at North Mechanic Street and West Pearl Street. The 27-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officers responded to the 700 block of North Waterloo Avenue for a warrant arrest. A 36-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
- Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at Mitchell Street and Adrian Avenue. A 40-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Panther observed subjects fighting near South Mechanic Street and West Franklin Street. A 57-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 2200 block of East Ganson Street. A 43-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
