Wilmington Police arrest man caught breaking into vehicle: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man who was caught breaking into a parked vehicle.
On July 8 at approximately 3:30 a.m., police officers on patrol in the area of 9th and North Market Streets observed 38-year-old Joseph Hoffmaster breaking into a parked vehicle. Hoffmaster fled when officers attempted to make contact with him, but he was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit without further incident.
Hoffmaster has been charged with the following offense:
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
