* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Atlantic County in southern New Jersey... Northwestern Cape May County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Cumberland County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 731 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 2.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Vineland, Millville, Cumberland, Pleasantville, Northfield, Absecon, Egg Harbor City, Laurel Lake, Weymouth, Woodbine, Estell Manor and Corbin City. This includes the following highways... Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 6 and 24. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 34 and 42.
