INCIDENT: Search Warrant Leads to Discovery of Illegal Firearms and Accessories
LOCATION: 11000 block of Chamberlaine Way, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Daniel Reyes, 23-year-old resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Friday, July 3, 2026, at about 7:05p.m., the Hesperia Gang Team served a search warrant at a residence in the 11000 block of Chamberlaine Way, in the city of Adelanto. Daniel Reyes, who resided at the location, was found to have an illegally modified firearm.
The Hesperia Gang Team recovered an AR-15 style assault rifle illegally configured with a retractable stock, pistol grip, threaded barrel, and detachable magazine. A handgun also found in the home was taken as evidence. A criminal report for violation of PC 30605(a)-Possession of an Assault Weapon, will be forwarded to the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office.
