Dear City of Niles Residents and Customers:
The City of Niles Light Department will conduct planned electrical system maintenance to address storm-related conditions and support the continued reliability of the electric distribution system. As part of this work, temporary service interruptions are expected to affect customers in the following areas:

• Customers within approximately a ¼-mile radius of the Washington Street, Pearl Street, and Cedar Street area
• Customers within approximately a ¼-mile radius of John Street and Wade Street

Customers in each affected area should anticipate a temporary power outage lasting approximately 30 minutes, subject to unforeseen emergencies or operational conditions.

Scheduled Date and Time:
Saturday, July 11, 2026
Between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The City recognizes that any interruption in electric service may cause inconvenience and appreciates the patience and cooperation of affected customers while this necessary work is completed.

This maintenance is intended to strengthen system reliability and address storm-related impacts prior to the high temperatures forecasted for Northeast Ohio.
