Extreme Heat Warning for Park County Sunday July 12th 
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Sunday July 12th. Extreme heat can become a life-threatening emergency. The elderly, very young and compromised individuals are especially vulnerable. Stay indoors in air-conditioned areas. If your home is hot, go to the Public Library, Museum or find other safe spaces. Drink plenty of water and check on family, friends and neighbors to make sure they are safe. If someone shows signs of confusion, hot dry skin, or fainting – call 911.
