LOCATION: 20000 block of Sholic Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT 1: John Pucci, 55-year-old male, Apple Valley
SUSPECT 2: Meghan Weinshank, 41-year-old female, Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
Following an investigation into suspected narcotics sales and the illegal possession of firearms, the Apple Valley Gang Team served a search warrant at a residence located in the 20000 block of Sholic Road in Apple Valley.
During the service of the search warrant, investigators located methamphetamine along with opioids and two firearms. Meghan Weinshank was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and firearms-related offenses.
During the operation, deputies also contacted John Pucci, a fugitive who allegedly provided false identification in an attempt to evade law enforcement apprehension. Deputies confirmed Pucci's identity and discovered he had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest.
Both Weinshank and Pucci were taken into custody without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Weinshank was booked for possession of a controlled substance while armed and Pucci was booked for the felony warrant.
