ONE INJURIED IN MILTON TOWNSHIP CRASH
Sheriff Clint Roach advises that on 07/10/2026 at approximately 10:00 pm, his office responded to a two-vehicle, personal injury accident. The accident occurred just East of the intersection of US 12 and Anderson Rd, in Milton Township. The investigation shows that Dennis Baumann, a 40-year-old resident of Sturgis, was Westbound on US 12 when his vehicle struck a Deer that had been hit in the Eastbound lane by Lucas Frentz 17-year-old resident of Edwardsburg. After Frentz struck the deer in the eastbound lane with his vehicle, the deer went through the windshield on Baumann's vehicle.
Baumann was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by SMCAS for treatment of his injuries.
