Please be advised that vegetation management will begin at Cottage City Park on Monday, July 20, 2026.
The park will remain open during this work. Activities will take place in the area north of Bunker Hill Road and adjacent to the tennis and basketball courts. The project will include removal of invasive shrubs from the forested section, and herbicide will be applied in select areas as part of the vegetation management process.
We ask all park visitors to use caution near work areas and follow any posted signs or directions from contractors and staff.
