 HEAT ADVISORY: HIGH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED THIS WEEK

Morristown Department of Public Safety is advising residents to prepare for a stretch of hot and humid weather conditions through the remainder of this week.

 Forecast Highlights:
• Tuesday: High temperatures in the low to mid 90s with heat index values approaching 100°.
• Wednesday: The hottest day of the week with temperatures near 96°–100° and heat index values reaching 100°–104°.
• Thursday: Continued heat with temperatures in the low to mid 90s.
• Friday: Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s with a chance of afternoon showers or storms.

 Cooling Center Available
To assist residents during this period of extreme heat, Morristown Town Hall will be open as a Cooling Center for the remainder of this week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
