Lieutenant Richard Pittman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 40-year-old Tiffany Ann Justice of Marion with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. She was denied bond due to the incident being domestic violence-related.
On Thursday, July 9, MCSO Deputy Caleb Baliles responded to a report of a possible stabbing at a residence in Marion. Upon arrival, Deputy Baliles spoke with the victim, who stated he had been asleep in his home when Justice attacked him with a pocketknife. The victim had multiple stab wounds and lacerations across his body.
An investigation by Lt. Pittman confirmed that Justice was responsible for the attack.
