Paving Operations Planned for Portions of State Routes 30 and 67 in the City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that paving operations will begin along portions of State Routes 30 and 67 in the city of Amsterdam, Montgomery County. Work will begin along State Route 30 northbound the week of Monday, July 13 for approximately 6 weeks. Lane reductions and lane shifts are expected to occur daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- State Route 30 northbound from the NYS Thruway Bridge to just north of the Erie and Bridge Street ramps.
- State Route 30 northbound from East Main Street to the State Route 30 north interchange with State Route 67.
- State Route 67 east, from State Route 30 to Prospect Street.
Traffic in one or both directions may be reduced to one lane to accomplish guiderail improvements along State Route 30. Drainage adjustments and ADA ramp improvements will also be made throughout the paving areas, as needed.
Motorists should stay alert through this area of the city, pay attention to work zone signs, and obey flaggers.
