Santa Maria Police Arrest Five, Seize Large Quantity of Narcotics and Illegal Firearms During Multi-Agency Operation 
On Friday, July 10, 2026, Santa Maria Police Department detectives, in partnership with the Gang Suppression Team (GST) and with assistance from detectives from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), served multiple search warrants at locations throughout the City of Santa Maria.
The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals on various narcotics and weapons-related charges. Two of those arrested were additionally charged with narcotics sales and gang enhancement allegations.
Those individuals were identified as Gerardo Gonzalez Flores, 26 years of age, of Santa Maria and Rolando Gonzalez Flores, 23 years of age, of Santa Maria.
During the investigation, detectives seized approximately 2.8 pounds of cocaine, 566 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 2,000 fentanyl pills, and several firearms, including two illegal assault weapons.
Gerardo Gonzalez Flores was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on numerous felony charges. His bail was set at $3 million. Rolando Gonzalez Flores was also booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on numerous felony charges, with bail set at $500,000.
