National Weather Service has indicated that a large plume of smoke from out-of-control Canadian wildfires is expected to move into parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic overnight, with hazy skies and degraded air quality lingering through at least Thursday and potentially into Friday, depending on wind patterns and any passing weather systems.
