ROAD WORK NOTICE AND REMINDER – BELMONT AVENUE & HALEDON AVENUE

 
Pursuant to the notices already distributed and posted, the Haledon Police Department reminds residents of scheduled roadway improvements on Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17, 2026.
 
CONCRETE WORK:
 
Thursday, July 16, 2026, 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM 
 
• Belmont Ave. from Harris St. to Zabriskie St.
 
Friday, July 17, 2026, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
 
• Belmont Ave. from Zabriskie St. to Barbour St.
 
OVERNIGHT MILLING AND PAVING:
 
Thursday, July 16, 2026, 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM
 
• Belmont Ave. between Haledon Ave. and Barbour St.

• Haledon Ave. between Belmont Ave. and Church St.
 
 Friday, July 17, 2026, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
 
• Belmont Ave. between Haledon Ave. and Barbour St.

• Haledon Ave. between Belmont Ave. and Church St.
 
NO PARKING:
 
Temporary No Parking signs have been posted. Vehicles parked within posted work zones are subject to ticketing and towing.
 
TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT PARKING:
 
Residents affected by the roadway improvements have been authorized to park overnight at: 
 
• Walgreens – 447 Belmont Avenue
• Frank's Liquors – 424 Belmont Avenue
• No Fuss Lunch – 398 Belmont Avenue
• Belmont Town Square Municipal Parking Lot
 
Please park only in marked spaces and do not block entrances, exits, or fire lanes.
 
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.
 
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these roadway improvements are completed safely.
