Consider moving outdoor exercise indoors or reducing its intensity.
Keep windows closed if you have respiratory conditions and use air conditioning if available.
If you have asthma or another respiratory illness, keep your rescue medication readily available and follow your healthcare provider's recommendations.
Help reduce air pollution by limiting unnecessary driving, avoiding idling, and postponing the use of gasoline-powered lawn equipment when possible.
If you experience coughing, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or difficulty breathing, move indoors and seek medical attention if symptoms become severe.
