CAD CALLS: 948
1. Weapon Arrest (1839) 1000 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. A search of the vehicle revealed the suspect was in unlawful possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Mario Toliver, 26, for weapon charges.
2. Attempted Homicide Arrest (1952) 1300 Block of North Madison Street, Civic District
The male victim, 69, was in the listed area when the known suspect confronted him for talking to the suspect’s girlfriend. The suspect then stabbed the victim twice with an object in an attempt to kill him. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. ARRESTED: Donald Shetterly, 86, for attempted homicide and assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Attempted Homicide Arrest (2250) Airport Way and Harding Way, Park District
The female victim, 45, and the male victim, 42, were at an area business when the known suspect brandished a weapon and threatened to kill them. The victims fled in their vehicle, and the suspect gave chase in her vehicle. The suspect intentionally rammed the victim’s vehicle. The suspect abandoned her vehicle and fled on foot, but was later located and arrested. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. ARRESTED: Jessica Nelson, 51, for attempted homicide, felony vandalism, and false identification.
4. Carjacking (0130) 1000 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
The male victim, 26, was seated in his vehicle in the listed area when the suspects opened his door, brandished a firearm, and forcefully removed him from the vehicle. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was uninjured. The victim’s vehicle was later located unoccupied and recovered. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults.
5. Carjacking (0130) 700 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
Related to entry #4. The male victim, 38, was seated in his vehicle in the listed area when he was approached by the suspect, who brandished a firearm at him. The victim fled on foot, and the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later located unoccupied and recovered. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
