The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is currently repairing damage to a large 36-inch water pipe in West Hollywood (Sunset Boulevard and Holloway Drive) that occurred early this morning.
For your safety and to help crews work, please avoid the area.
Here is what you need to know:
- Road & Sidewalk Closures: Eastbound and westbound Sunset Boulevard between Larrabee Street and Sherbourne Drive. Eastbound Holloway Drive is closed between Sunset Boulevard and Palm Avenue. Surrounding side streets and sidewalks are also closed due to pavement damage.
- Bus Detours: If you take public transit, check alerts.metro.net for active Metro bus detours.
- Water Service: Local water service is not affected by this break and water remains safe to drink. Visit: ladwpnews.com/
- Property Damage & Claims: If your property was damaged by the flooding, LADWP Claims staff will be stationed in front of 1010 Palm Ave. until 7PM tonight to help you file a claim. Visit LADWP.com/Claims
