OPD NEWS:
The Oakland Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Lizzie Jones, a 74-year-old woman considered at risk due to dementia.
Last seen just after 8:15 p.m. on July 14, 2026, in the 1900 block of 12th Avenue. Jones was wearing a purple sweater, a white shirt, dark blue jeans, and orange slippers.
She is described as a Black female, 5' tall, 90 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Family says she may have been headed to Berkeley.
Anyone with information on Jones's whereabouts is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
