Three Suspects Arrested When Deputies Arrive at Storage Unit and Investigate a Theft

DATE/TIME: July 16, 2026 / 3:22 P.M.

INCIDENT: PC496.5(A)-Possession of Stolen Property
PC496(A)- Receiving Known Stolen Property
HS11377(A)-Possession of a Controlled Substance
PC484E(C)-Possession of Stolen Credit Cards

LOCATION: 12000 Block of Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT 1: David Stephen Zepeda, 39-year-old Resident of Fontana
SUSPECT 2: Trixie Anne Ybanez, 42 -year-old Resident of Rancho Cucamonga.
SUSPECT 3: Adrian Anthony Nevarez, 36-year-old Resident of Fontana
             
VICTIM(S): 64-year-old Male

SUMMARY: On Thursday, July 16, 2026, at approximately 3:22 P.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service for unknown subjects moving items out of a storage unit. The reporting party advised dispatch the unknown subjects had previously burglarized the location.

Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the suspects, identified as David Stephen Zepeda, Trixie Anne Ybanez, and Adiran Anthony Nevarez. During the investigation, deputies learned the vehicle the subjects were in possession of had been reported stolen. The suspects were also found to be in possession of stolen property, and several credit cards that did not belong to them. The victim positively identified some of his items that were stolen during the prior burglary.

Zepeda was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for possession of stolen property. Ybanez was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for receiving known stolen property. Nevarez was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen credit cards.
