Rancho Cucamonga Teen Arrested for Vandalism at Local School

SUSPECT(S): 17-year-old Male Juvenile, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): Olive Tree Day School
SUMMARY: On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at approximately 8:26 A.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service for vandalism at Olive Tree Day School. The reporting party advised dispatch unknown suspects entered a classroom and discharged contents of a fire extinguisher, causing suppressant powder to spread throughout two classrooms. Multiple cleanup companies inspected the damage and provided estimates ranging from $5,000 to $56,000 to restore the affected classrooms.
During the investigation, deputies identified and located one of the involved juvenile males. On Thursday, July 16, 2026, the male juvenile was arrested, cited, and released to his parents. The investigation is ongoing.
