Storms may begin before noon, with additional rounds possible through and beyond sunset.
Damaging winds or a tornado could cause tree damage, power outages, and structural damage. Flash flooding may cause roads and lakes to flood.
- Relocate vehicles: Avoid parking in flood-prone areas, especially near Wesley Lake, Sunset Lake, and Deal Lake. Move vehicles to higher ground and away from trees and other hazards.
- Avoid flooded roadways: Never attempt to drive through floodwaters. In an emergency during the storm, call 911.
- Monitor conditions: Follow local forecasts and be prepared to act quickly if a weather warning is issued.
