More severe weather is expected later today, and county engineers and the construction company will need to re-evaluate the roadway once conditions allow. We have no estimated reopening time yet.

With flash flooding in the forecast, one rule matters most: never drive through water on the road. It takes only a few inches to stall or carry away a vehicle, and you can't tell how deep the water is or whether the road beneath has washed out. Turn around and find another way.
