Six Arrested After Rancho Cucamonga Search Warrant Uncovers Loaded Gun, Drugs, and Stolen Property

SUSPECT(S): Melissa Ann Jaques, 37-years old, Resident of Fontana.
Melissa Jean Matzenauer, 40-years old, Resident of Colton.
Richard Sandoval, 40-years old, Transient of Rancho Cucamonga.
Ernesto Urzua, 42-years old, Resident of Ontario.
Natalia Rose Vanuleet, 25-years old, Resident of Fontana.
Adrian Anthony Nevarez, 36-years old, Resident of Fontana.

SUMMARY: On Thursday, July 16, 2026, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station began investigating information regarding the location of stolen property.
On Friday, July 17, 2026, at approximately 11:54 A.M., based on evidence recovered during the investigation, deputies authored and served a search warrant for a residence located in the 8600 block of Pecan Ave in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. The suspects later identified as Melissa Ann Jaques, Melissa Jean Matzenauer, Richard Sandoval, Ernesto Urzua, Natalie Rose Vanuleet, and Adrian Anthony Nevarez were all detained.
A search of the location resulted in a loaded firearm, ammunition, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property. During the investigation, deputies learned Jaques and Urzua were in possession of the loaded firearm and ammunition. Jaques and Urzua are both convicted felons which prohibits them from possessing a firearm and ammunition.
Jaques and Urzua were later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC29800(A)(1)- Felon in possession of a firearm, PC30305(A)(1)-Prohibit to own ammo, PC496(A)-Receiving known stolen property, and PC530.5(C)(3)-Possession of 10+ stolen credit cards. Matzenauer, Sandoval, Vanuleet, and Nevarez were later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC496(A)- Receiving known stolen property, and PC530.5(C)(3)- Possession of 10+ stolen credit cards.
