1. Strong Arm Robbery (1655) 7500 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim, 76, was in the listed area when the suspects approached and took her property from her person before fleeing on foot. SUSPECTS: Three Black male teens.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0209) Center Street and Channel Street, Civic District
The juvenile male victim, 16, was in the listed area when the suspect threw an object at him, hitting him in the hand. The victim and suspect began to fight when the suspect swung a knife, causing minor injuries to the victim. Officers responded, located the suspect who had ran away, and used force to take the suspect into custody. The victim received medical treatment on scene. ARRESTED: John Powell, 35, for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
