1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1801) 00 Block of South Commerce Street, Civic District
The male victim, 54, was sitting at a bus stop in the listed area when the suspect approached him and accused the victim of being “nosey.” The suspect drew a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was later located and arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Domenique Whitfield, 30, for assault with a deadly weapon.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2007) 900 Block of South Lincoln Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 36, was inside a residence in the listed area when he got into an argument with the known suspect. The suspect retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Wuellt Reyes-Carballo, 31, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Robbery (2107) 700 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 35, was working at a business in the listed area when the known suspect entered and demanded money. The suspect took the property and fought with the victim when the victim tried to stop him. The suspect fled in a vehicle with the property. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
