Severe thunderstorm potential this afternoon/evening: Damaging winds, flooding, tornadoes possible 
Severe thunderstorms are possible today, with the most widespread activity occurring later this afternoon into the evening. A Flood Watch is in effect through late tonight. Some heavy showers and thunderstorms will produce torrential rainfall, with 2 to 3 inches of rain per hour possible. The excessive rainfall within a short period of time could lead to flash flooding.
In addition, damaging winds, a few tornadoes and hail are possible.
