The City of Hoboken remains under a National Weather Service (NWS) flood watch with heavy rain and thunderstorms forecasted throughout the day and into the late evening hours. Residents are reminded that the city can experience flooding in low-lying, flood-prone areas if more than 0.8 inches of rain per hour falls. Barricades will be deployed as needed. The Church Square Farmers Market has been cancelled for today.
Tonight’s Fitness in the Park with Ken Pilates has been rescheduled for Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Pier A Park.
Tonight’s Family Fun at Shipyard Park Storytime with Harmonica Sunbeam has been rescheduled for Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
