1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Delayed Report) 400 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic District
On 07/18/26 at approximately 0115 hours, the male victim, 34, was working at a local business when he got into an argument with a coworker and her two sons. During the argument, the suspects assaulted the victim. The victim later sought treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Hispanic adult female and
two Hispanic adult males.
2. Weapon Arrest (1700) 200 Block of West Benjamin Holt Drive, Lakeview District
Officers conducted a check out of a vehicle in the listed area. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm inside, along with narcotics. ARRESTED: Gawuan Thomas, 36, for weapon and narcotic charges.
3. Robbery (2151) 400 Block of East Hunter Street, Seaport District
The male victims, 22 and 24, were sitting in their parked vehicle in the listed area when the suspects pulled up in a vehicle. One suspect approached the driver’s side and demanded that he open his door. When the victim opened the door, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded his property, which the victim
complied. The second suspect assaulted the passenger and took his property. The suspects fled in a vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2217) 1200 Block East Church Street, Park District
The female victim, 43, was exiting her house when the suspects threw rocks at her, which missed but struck her vehicle. The victim went back into her house, and the suspects fled on foot. SUSPECTS: Two Black male teens.
5. Pursuit Arrest (2309) Hammer Lane and Tam O’Shanter Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns. Shortly after the pursuit, the vehicle collided with a city streetlight. The driver was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Cameran North, 31, for evading.
