The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and Tornado Watch for our area. There is the potential for scattered severe thunderstorms with the potential for a tornado. Please make sure to monitor local weather forecasts and alerts from the National Weather Service.
A watch is intended to provide enough lead time for people to have a plan in case threats increase. A watch can quickly be upgraded to a warning. Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor items.

If you lose power, notice must be given directly to ConEdison. You may report and monitor power outages through their mobile app, online, or by phone 1-800-752-6633. If you see downed electrical wires, do not go near them. Assume all downed wires are electrified. Report any downed wires to ConEdison.
