Update - Delayed - 2026–2027 Tax Bills
2026–2027 Property Tax Information
The 2026 tax rate has been certified, and tax bills will be mailed by mid-August.
Please Read Before Contacting the Tax Office
There is no need to contact the Tax Office regarding the mailing of tax bills or the third-quarter grace period.
Please share this information with your friends, neighbors, and senior citizens.
Third Quarter Grace Period
The third-quarter grace period will be extended to 25 days from the mailing date of the tax bills. The exact grace period end date will be printed on your tax bill.
Tax Payment Due Dates
- 1st Quarter: February 1
- 2nd Quarter: May 1
- 3rd Quarter: August 1 (Grace period extended—see your tax bill for the new deadline.)
- 4th Quarter: November 1
Each quarter includes a 10-day grace period. If the last day falls on a weekend or holiday, the grace period extends to the next business day.

Important Reminders
- Include the correct payment stub when mailing your payment.
- Your canceled check is your receipt.
- Postdated checks cannot be accepted.
- If paying in person, please bring your entire tax bill.
Delinquent Taxes
Payments received after the grace period are subject to interest from the original due date.
Interest rates are:
- 8% on the first $1,500 of the delinquency.
- 18% on any amount over $1,500.
Payments on delinquent accounts are applied to interest first, then principal.
