The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for our area today until 6:45 pm. Low pressure is causing thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Rainfall may reach 1 to 2 inches per hour for the next several hours. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding is expected of Saddle Brook roadways. Detours and closures will be in place. Do not walk or drive through flooded areas. Please monitor forecasts for updates.
