Pocatello Fire Department crews are currently on scene of a fatal residential fire at 1935 S. 5th.

The structure fire was reported at 8:01 pm. Crews responded immediately and were able to get the fire quickly. The fire was contained to a single home. Fire investigators from both the Pocatello Fire and Pocatello Police Department have been called in to investigate.

Tragically, one adult victim has been confirmed deceased.

Further details will be released following the completion of the investigation and notification of next of kin.
