The female victim, 16, was outside the listed location when the suspect approached her and forcibly removed property from her. The suspect fled on foot. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Robbery Arrest (1936) 7800 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 25, was working at an area business when he confronted the known suspect for shoplifting merchandise. The suspect threatened the victim and fled on foot with the merchandise. The suspect was later located and arrested. ARRESTED: Timothy Thornton, 43, for Robbery.
3. Weapons Arrest (2010) 2400 Block of East Scotts Street, Park District
Officers responded to a disturbance in the listed area. They contacted the suspect, who was next to his vehicle. Officers observed a firearm in plain view in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed an additional firearm. ARRESTED: Jose Garcia, 36, for weapons charges.
4. Weapon Arrest (0203) Wilson Way and Poplar Street, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. Officers observed a magazine in plain view. A search of the vehicle revealed that the suspect was in unlawful possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Francisco Juminez-Torres, 19, for weapon charges.
