Headquarters Station Invites Community to National Night Out
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Station is pleased to invite the community to join us for National Night Out on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Roger Jones Community Center, located at 2864 Jourdan Street in the City of Oxnard.
National Night Out is an annual community-building and public safety event designed to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities we serve. The event provides an opportunity for residents to meet local law enforcement professionals and first responders, build meaningful connections, learn about crime prevention and safety resources, and enjoy an evening with family, friends, and neighbors.
This family-friendly event will feature representatives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Station, Sheriff’s Off Road Team, SWAT Team, Search and Rescue Team, Mounted Unit, and Bomb Squad. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of these specialized units, learn more about their roles, and explore some of the specialized equipment used to help protect and serve the community.
Children and families will also have the opportunity to see some of the equipment up close and take photos with various Sheriff’s Office vehicles and specialized resources.
National Night Out is a great opportunity for community members to connect with the men and women who serve their neighborhoods, ask questions, and learn more about the many resources available through the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
