Free Sandbags Distribution 
Due to the inclement weather in the forecast, the City of Mathis Public Works Department will have sandbags available for City Residents beginning today, July 23rd and Friday, July 24th from 8:00am to 5:00pm on a first come, first serve basis.
Residents may receive a limit of six (6) bags per household while supplies last.
