FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Cloquet Police Department is providing an update on the burglary that occurred at Super One Liquor, located on Highway 33, last Friday morning.
During the investigation, and thanks in large part to tips and information submitted by the public, detectives have identified two juvenile males allegedly responsible for the burglary. The department will be pursuing formal charges in this case.
Due to the ages of the individuals involved, the Cloquet Police Department is limited in the additional information it can release. The juveniles are not currently in custody. A formal petition from the Carlton County Attorney's Office is expected in the near future.
The Cloquet Police Department extends its sincere thanks to the community members who called or submitted tips following our initial request for information. Your willingness to get involved made a direct difference in resolving this case.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank our law enforcement partners at the Carlton County Sheriff's Office, the Fond du Lac Police Department, and the Minnesota State Patrol for their assistance and collaboration throughout this investigation.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of 07/17/2026. Several bottles of Fireball and Buzz Ballz, as well as a cash register, were stolen after a break-in. The cash register was recovered.
