South Garfield off of Yakima is temporarily closed due to a minor chemical spill. HazMat team is on scene for cleanup. 
There is a minor chemical spill at a local industrial site. The regional HazMat team is on scene and actively working to contain and clean up the spill.
The incident is fully isolated and there is currently no risk to the public.
South Garfield is tempoarily closed while crews complete cleanup efforts. Yakima Road remains open.
South Garfield is expected to reopen later this afternoon.
