Full Notification

Due to a break on the main supply line to the village water tower, water service interruption has occurred village wide.  The break occurred at approiximately 1:00 am on July 25th.  As on 7:30 am the Village of Worth has issued a village wide boil order.  Public Works has made the necessary repairs and water service has been restored.
For precautionary measures please boil all water for consumption for a minimum of 5 minutes.  The water is safe to shower and wash hands.  Only water for consumption should be boiled.  We will be taking taking, and submitting samples to an EPA certified laboratory.  The order is effective immediately and consumers will be notified when the order is lifted.
