The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) invites you and your family to kick off Roving Leaders SUNday FUNday TODAY!
For the first time, DPR is expanding Sunday recreation opportunities with FREE neighborhood activities from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. as part of our new extended weekend hours. Four recreations are open from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays: Turkey Thicket, Fort Stanton, Deanwood and Emery Heights.
Today’s activities include:
🎉 Play in the Park – Turkey Thicket Recreation Center
🛼 Open Skate – Fort Stanton Recreation Center
🎮 Movies & Gaming – Deanwood Community Center
Bring the whole family out for an afternoon of games, recreation, fitness, and community fun. Whether you’re looking to skate, play, watch a movie, or simply spend time with neighbors, there’s something for everyone.
