Pierce-Pepin Electric has notified Pepin County that they will be doing maintenance at the Ella Substation which will result in a planned power outage. The power outage is scheduled to begin at 11pm on Wednesday July 29th until approximately 5am on July 30th, 2026.
This project is expected to affect approximately 800 Pierce-Pepin customer accounts in the Pepin, Ella, Porcupine, Arkansaw, and Durand areas. It may also affect properties in Buffalo County.
