Please be advised that Schoolhouse Road will be closed to all through traffic between Buckelew Avenue and Perrineville Road beginning Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at 7:00 AM and continuing until approximately 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 due to scheduled railroad improvement work.
Please note: The roadway will remain closed 24 hours a day, including overnight, throughout the duration of the project.
Local Access: Residents and motorists will be able to access Majestic Woods Drive from the Buckelew Avenue side of the closure. Forman Avenue and Nathaniel Street will remain accessible from the Perrineville Road side of the closure.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour routes and avoid the area whenever possible to minimize delays.
