Due to forecasted heavy rainfall over the next several hours and coming days, areas prone to flooding may experience hazardous conditions, including portions of Route 9A near Ryder Road bridge and 9a near Route 134.
Residents are urged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes whenever possible. Please do not drive through standing or deep water, as water depth and roadway conditions may be difficult to determine.
If possible avoid travel during heavy rainfall, use caution while traveling and monitor local news outlets as weather conditions develop.
