CAD CALLS: 815

1. Pursuit Arrest (1557) Thornton Road and Hammer Lane, Lakeview District
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. During the pursuit, the driver collided with another vehicle. Three suspects fled from the vehicle but were apprehended after a short foot chase. There were no injuries. ARRESTED: A 16-year-old
male juvenile for evading and weapon charges, and two 17-year-old male juveniles for resisting arrest and weapon charges.

2. Armed Robbery (1743) 5600 Block of Cascade Court, Lakeview District
The female victim, 43, was in the driveway of a residence when two suspects ran up to her, pointing handguns at her. The suspects demanded the victim's property. When the victim refused, one suspect struck her and took her property before fleeing. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults.

3. Battery on an Officer (1800) 4400 Block of Cotton Court, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance. Officers detained the suspect and placed her in the back of a patrol vehicle. While inside the patrol vehicle, the suspect spat on an officer. She later attempted to spit on the officer again, but missed. Force was used to prevent her from spitting. ARRESTED:
Natasha Scott, 42, for elder abuse and battery on an officer.

4. Strong Arm Robbery (1900) 6000 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim, 47, was working at a business when the suspect entered. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s property and fled. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

5. Resisting Arrest (1932) 1000 Block of North Hunter St, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed location on a welfare check. Upon arrival, they saw a female crying hysterically. Officers attempted to talk with her when the known suspect intervened. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, but he resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Santos Appling
Sanchez, 30, for resisting arrest and warrants.

6. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1939) 3200 Block of North Hunter St, Civic District
The male victim, 48, was inside his garage when the suspect drove past in a vehicle and fired shots at him. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

7. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2040) 3800 Block of Rion Way, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 46, was in front of a residence when the suspect arrived in a vehicle and fired shots that struck two vehicles. The victims were uninjured. The suspect fled the scene. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

8. Pursuit Arrest (0047) East Market Street and Eugenia Street, Park District
Officers attempted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The suspect stopped the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but she was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. ARRESTED: Nehemiah Miller,22, for Evading.
